The logistics aging index hit a new high in the past two years, and the supply capacity of e-commerce logistics enterprises continued to increase.
CCTV News:China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced the China E-commerce Logistics Index in July on August 7th. Benefiting from the steady increase of various indexes on the supply side, the logistics index of China e-commerce has improved from last month, and continues to maintain a continuous upward trend. Experts said that with the gradual efforts of various consumption promotion policies, the e-commerce logistics index will continue to grow in August.

In July, China’s e-commerce logistics index was 110.9 points, a slight increase of 0.3 points over the previous month. The indexes of the supply side performed well, among which the logistics timeliness index, satisfaction rate index, performance rate index and personnel index rose continuously.

Specifically, in July, the logistics timeliness index hit a new high in the past two years and kept rising for seven consecutive months. The satisfaction index increased by 1.5 points from last month, ending the trend of running below 100 points since 2020.

The compliance rate index rose by 0.5 points from the previous month, achieving a seven-month increase, and the supply capacity of e-commerce logistics enterprises continued to increase.

The personnel index increased by 1.4 points from the previous month, and exceeded the high of 110 points for the first time since January 2019.

In July, with the withdrawal of the previous e-commerce shopping promotion activities, the total e-commerce logistics business volume index and the rural e-commerce business volume index reflecting the demand dropped slightly, but the demand potential was still large and the growth momentum was strong, maintaining rapid growth of more than 20% and 25% respectively.
