CCTV News:The National Health and Wellness Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments issued a notice on printing and distributing the Measures for the Administration of Family Nurseries (for Trial Implementation), which clarified the provisions on the number of children in family nurseries and the per capita construction area of infants and young children.

According to the notice, a family nursery refers to a place that provides full day care, half day care, time care, temporary care and other care services for infants under 3 years old by using houses, and the number of children in each family nursery must not exceed 5. Every 1 caregiver in the family nursery can care for up to 3 infants, and the per capita construction area of infants in the family nursery shall not be less than 9 square meters. The words "care" should be indicated in the name of the family care point, and the "family care service" should be defined in the service scope and business scope. If a profit-making family nursery is held, it shall apply to the local market supervision department for registration according to law, and the registration authority shall promptly push the registration information of the family nursery to the health department at the same level.
