On August 15th, Taihang Urban and Rural Construction Group received a thank-you letter from Chengde Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Municipal People’s Government, in which it spoke highly of the fearless spirit and responsibility of Taihang Urban and Rural Construction Group in the rescue and relief work since Xinglong County in Chengde City, Hebei Province suffered from the torrential rain disaster, and expressed sincere gratitude to the group for its positive contribution.

In August this year, Xinglong, Luanping and other places in Chengde City suffered from heavy rainfall that was rare in history, which caused serious floods and the safety of people’s lives and property was greatly threatened. When Taihang Urban and Rural Construction Group heard of the flood, it rushed to help. It immediately set up a rescue commando team and took more than 10 large-scale machinery and equipment such as excavators and loaders to the disaster-stricken areas to assist the local government in the road rushing and the repair of wading bridges, vividly interpreting the deep feelings of people first and life first.
